"Situated close to the Morgana Morass, the once prosperous city of Blemp was a religious site for medicinal and culinary experts around the dying world. The riches made by merchants, cooks, and herbalists made the most wealthy in Galgenbeck look like paupers. It prospered for a very long time, until it finally fell. Nobody knows how or why this happened, but there are many rumors in the mill. Most blame the inept Mayor for becoming too greedy, draining the city dry, which allowed the now prominent criminal element to rise up. Others blame the strange things that have been flooding in from the Morass: monsters haunting the sewers, beasts taking children in the night, and mushrooms hellbent on taking over the town. It is no wonder Josilfa has started to take notice. Tensions are rising, and its only a matter of time before the city implodes. Maybe there's a way to stop it. Maybe it's better to just let it implode. Only time will tell."

He Who Croaks Last is a SVMP Infected (Mörk Borg compatible) adventure module. The Story Thus Far

The rule of law that once governed Blemp has eroded away like its unkempt cobblestone streets. Criminals run the city while the officials run away with taxes. Winds from the Morgana Morass blow in more than just hallucinogenic haze. Mushrooms creep out like festering claws from its borders. Rats flee the sewers in droves, scared of whatever has moved out of the mushroom forest. The people are growing increasingly uneasy and threaten to take to the streets.

Needless to say the city is falling apart.

Not a fan of Mörk Borg?

Don't worry since Mörk Borg's rules are lite, you can easily convert them to utilize the rules of your favorite OSR. It'll just take a little bit of elbow grease.

What's in it for me buddy?

As this is my first Kickstarter, I want to avoid adding too much to the tiers. I want everything to go as smoothly as possible. However! If by some stroke of luck we hit 5k I will send all the physical backers a physical newspaper called the Blempkin Press (all digital backers will get a PDF). It'll contain: news, lore, items, and more. If we go beyond 10k, I'll start hounding some members of the community to add pages into the newspaper. Anything beyond that, and maybe I'll get me some of that wonderful Gnome Dust and take a peek at the infinite cosmos. Or simply go insane. Either works for me!
