Uneasy Lies the Head is a competitive GMless roleplaying game where players act as various scheming nobles in a royal court. Start the game by drafting titles, relationships, holdings, and your rankings on the power, knowledge, and esteem tracks. Players take turns preparing and executing plans to advance their goals in the realm. Plans are selected using a worker placement mechanism in which each one takes time to resolve. The time it takes for your plans to enact is tracked on a calendar called the public record, so your enemies at court will have time to interfere if you haven't planned properly. Can you shape the realm in your image?
